About the artist
Marcy Stagner is a Memphis-based artist, curator, art consultant, and collector. She draws inspiration from her years as a dancer and all around enthusiasm for the arts. Marcy was born and raised in Memphis, TN and moved to Colorado where she lived for 12 years and obtained both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education. Marcy taught middle school for almost 10 years.
Marcy's work is filled with color and self-expression. Her intuitive painting lends itself to her style of abstract expressionism. Marcy seeks to draw attention to the beauty within the mundane through her use of color and abstraction.
